Who I am

A Gator with a purpose

My name is Megan, but most people call me Skaggs. I’m a recently graduated student-athlete at the University of Florida with a passion for people & purpose.

I competed in NCAA gymnastics for five seasons, growing through every meet, every practice, and every challenge along the way. When I finished my fifth and final season, I wanted the next chapter to carry more meaning than a score sheet could hold.

That is what led me to build something outside the gym: the Tiny Bow Project, a way of pairing performance with purpose by wearing tiny bows in my hair to represent a different cause at each meet.

The path so far

Education

Recently graduated from the University of Florida.

Athletics

Five seasons of NCAA gymnastics as a Gator.

Initiatives

Passionate about connecting with people and creating purpose-driven initiatives.

Purpose

Connecting with people

I built this website to connect with YOU — and to give every bow a cause worth showing up for.

Ten causes close to my heart were chosen for the Tiny Bow Project, and each one was worn in competition so that a wider audience would see it and, hopefully, look it up. The supporting charities are collected in one place so anyone curious about a bow can find where to help.
